Beautiful old buildings and lots of explanation of past farming technologies. The animals were well cared for and looked happy. If you can get to the piggery just before feeding times to hear the noise from the pigs and to witness its cessation when they are feed. Its really worth it.

This farm is perfect for toddlers and older people.Pigs at feeding time, ponies, donkeys, cows and rabbits.Lovely grounds to walk around, especially the walled garden!

A great setting and another well run English Heritage site. For the children it offers a good days fun and knowledge of how the animals live. Nice modern eating restaurant, well worth the trip. A must for the adults to walk around the Hall as well if time allows, if not make another date as well worth the trip.
